History Quiz Questions

There has never been a pub quiz without at least some history quiz questions, so here is a whole lot of historical trivia and answers for you to select from.

These questions aren't from any specific era in history. I have just followed the guideline that if it happened in the past, it's history and it will appear here.

Some are questions are brain dead easy while the answers to others are downright evil. You will have to use your judgement to select questions that are at just the right level for your audience.

Despite appearances, this site wasn't designed in 1995 - I just felt like doing a retro thing for fun. Hey look... Comic sans :-)  (did you know you can't use <blink> tags anymore?).
Despite the old school look and feel I am generally pretty up to date which is why this site is already Y3K compliant. BAZINGA
